Burt rescues newcomer Tyler Reed from the government-protected Graboid known as El Blanco. It happens that Tyler is the new owner of Perfection's tourist business and he couldn't have come at a worse time. El Blanco is becoming more aggressive and the Perfection residents have to figure out why before they become the next meal. Oct 08, 2014 The show's low budget shows through at times in this premiere episode, but that doesn't have an effect on the enjoyment factor for me. Overall, Feeding Frenzy proved that Tremors: The Series was going to be exactly the show I was hoping for. It was clearly going to be a lot of fun to make weekly trips back to Perfection.

S01E01 Feeding Frenzy Summary
Tyler Reed, new owner of Desert Jack's Graboid Adventure, arrives in Perfection and must help Burt Gummer determine why El Blanco is eating far more than he should. Meanwhile, Melvin Plug is trying once again to buy out Perfection, this time to erect a strip-mall called 'Melville.' Twitchell nearly forces Burt to hug El Blanco, but Burt spots a weird glinting light and shoots that instead, destroying the device that is driving El Blanco insane with hunger. The goon Melvin hired to do this demands payment after barely evading Burt and summons El Blanco when Melvin refuses, but is eaten by El Blanco before he can do anything else. Melvin is discovered by Burt, who scolds him, despite Melvin maintaining his innocence. Back in town, everyone accepts Tyler as part of the Perfection family.

Tremors Show Summary
This spinoff of the Tremor movies chronicles the town of Perfection, Nevada, which has a little problem with great big worms. The Graboids, and their offspring the Shriekers and Ass-Blasters, have overrun the valley but are on the government's protected species list. The locals are (barely) allowed to live there rather then leave their homes, as long as they don't harm the creatures, particularly the giant Graboid known as 'El Blanco'. Complicating matters, a secret government lab accidentally unleashed a gene-blending substance called 'Mixmaster' into the area, occasionally causing various animal-types to recombine into new monsters.
The natives of Perfection include survivalist Burt Gummer, 60's hippy-type Nancy Sterngood, and grocery store owner Jodi Chang who all try to make a living. New to Perfection is tour guide Tyler Reed and Rosalita Sanchez, a mysterious woman with a past. Government representative W.D. Twitchell keeps an eye on the whole situation.
The series lasted one season on the SciFi Channel before being ignominously cancelled. A fourth movie was released the following January.
