Oct 29, 2012 Currently water levels are at or near a more normal water level measurement. Recent consistent rainfall measurements have been closer to norm and average in amounts. We are no longer in a drought or a drought like situation here at Okefenokee. Okefenokee Swamp water levels and moisture indexes are overall much closer to where they should be.

Get aboard this unique and one-of-a-kind guided boat tour into the Okefenokee Swamp. Your journey will take you down original Seminole Indian waterways, allowing the opportunity to see native plants and wildlife. For the adventurous, this trip will afford you the opportunity to climb the 90-foot observation tower for a panoramic view (not recommended for children 7 and under or individuals with medical conditions).

Size of group will determine time allotment needed for all boat tours. A group is defined as 12 or more persons, with one individual paying for all. Availability of group boats subject to change without notice.
